Well, the replacement modem finally arrived yesterday and lo and behold it is a wireless gateway, something we were considering getting anyway to hook up “Dita Von Dell” my ever so pink Dell Inspiron and … “No Name” (Tom’s laptop.) He’s not weird like me who names everything.
We’re not sure if that is just the Modem du jour they are giving out these days or this was thrown in as a bonus. Regardless, I am typing now from my living room couch sans wires (other than the power) but I COULD be walking around the condo if I felt the need.
So Telus, all is not forgiven but I’m happier now than I was a few days ago.
