Mah Boy made us a table!

Call this a late Mother’s Day early Father’s Day present from Chris. He’s been working hard on this table in his workworking class in school. I love it when the Boys make things for us makes me all sniffly and proud. He has so far managed to NOT maim himself with the machinery. I took a few shoppy type classes myself in the past that were more art related. Worked with metal, plexiglass etc and it was a blast. All those who know me and my accident-proneness (is that a word??) would be amazed to know I too still have all my fingers dispite my best attempt to cut them off cutting a circle with a band saw (shudder). I’ve broken toes just walking people, I’m serious!
Chris has previously made me a box to keep all my many jewels (hint hint Honey) and made Tom an awesome clock which hangs in our dining area.
Sean hasn’t got to the shop class stage yet (Elementary school frowns on things that can cut off fingers) but he draws pictures for us and is very talented. Chris draws great pictures too. It’s cool they both inherited an artistic bent. Lots of them in the family.
