Ahhh I’m a PROUD PROUD MOMMA of a High School Grad-gu-ate!! Chris looked great and even though he was dreading it I think had a good time. His class was over 300 kids though and with all the bursary and scholarship awards to be read out it took about 3 hours to get through it all. They kept the pace going though. My vantage point wasn’t the greatest for pictures so hopefully the ‘official’ picture that he gets after with the Principal on stage will turn out well. I got plenty of before and after pics though and I did take some mini-clips with the digital camera (love that feature btw) of him before the ceremony and during the processional, finding his seat, then leaving the stage and finally walking down the stairs after the thing was over. Very cool. Sean was having a hard time sitting that long.
With so manyyyyyyyyyyyy people who’s names were to be called out I started amusing myself with how I could start the clapping. For a good ten minutes I was the first clapper (until I tired of the game)It’s all timing you see.
Wellll it’s late so I’m off to bed. Will detail the evening tomorrow.
